Historical Romantic Suspense

Maria, Lady Winter, is gossiped to be The Wintry Widow. She is being blackmailed by the one man she loathes. Her step-father is using her sister to get Maria to do his bidding. Her sharp intellect keeps her ahead of the game as she focuses on finding her sister, but as she delves into the masterful game of suspense, passion, and seduction, she finds she is attracted to Pirate Christopher St. John.

Christopher St. John is released from prison and ordered to seduce Maria and find out her secrets along with her step-fathers’.  He agrees to the plan because he doesn’t intend to hang, but what he hasn’t counted on, is being drawn into Lady Winter’s sensual web of desire, passion, and intrigue.

Ms. Day’s Passion for the Game is an astounding read.  It has it all from passion, suspense, intrigue, desire, and seduction.  A beginning sentence that hooks the reader from the get-go and will not let go until the ending sentence that makes you sigh and wish it continued on.

Reviewer’s Note:  This is one book that grabbed me and wouldn’t let go!  I commend Ms. Day for penning the ultimate historical romantic suspense with characters that leapt off the page and dived right into my heart. Scorching passion and sensuality intertwined with suspense and intrigue make this book a gripping tale!
