Women’s Fiction

Five women meet on the day that each of their children begins kindergarten. From that day forward the women spend time at an outdoor café speaking about motherhood and all that entails. Each of the women is unique. Each of them faces difficulties at home. They bond and share all the details of life until one of their children disappears. Postpartum depression is named as the culprit but four women need answers that will bring closure to the incident and healing for a group of friends.

This novel does a stupendous job of focusing on real life dilemmas faced by today’s mothers. The way that postpartum depression is addressed is both straightforward and concerning. Readers will relate to several childhood mishaps that will leave you laughing out loud. This is a recommended read for any new mother or mother-to-be. It’s important for new mothers to have support and knowledge and this book will offer that in a casual, easy read kind of way.
