Laura Watkins is a mystery writer who has hit a mind block. Her friend Monica claims that her writing ability is tied to her sexuality and offers up her cousin’s Colorado cabin as a place to kick back. The retreat brings some much needed rest. A stranger on the other side of the country unwittingly becomes her muse and mentor after one webcam encounter.
Braden is a corporate tiger. He takes what he wants and this week–it’s Laura. Her innocence intrigues him and he wonders how far he can push her trust. There are no limits in his life. Why should she have them in hers?
This story started out sizzling and never slowed down. I liked the way Laura’s character developed throughout the story. Her adventurous mind and trusting soul found just what she needed to jump start her monotonous life. I found a few spelling errors and was distracted by the lengthy excerpts from Laura Watkins mystery book but other than that this was a great read. The ending came as a pleasant surprise that wrapped all of the adventure into one tidy package.
