Everything seemed to be going wrong in Anna Hartley's life. Fired and dumped by her boyfriend in the span of hours, she realizes something in missing in her life. When she sets off to find it the journey isn't as smooth as she like it be, but what seems like a bad break puts Anna in the right place at the right time.

Grant Olson is used to living his life eight seconds at a time. When he sees a woman stranded on a deserted road, he knows she's the type of woman he'd like to get to know better if he had the time. But the thrill of the ride and the arena calls and Grant is more than willing to answer.

Rodeo Man made me feel like a fly on the wall as I read page after page of this realistic and moving story. Nikki Alton weaves this tale using excellent use of language, making the telling almost hypnotic and poetic. The reader can't help but become involved and enthralled in the characters almost to the point it feels voyeuristic. Rodeo Man is a ride that lasts more than eight seconds but I imagine is just as thrilling, you definitely won't be disappointed.
