When Brenna Collins is working alone, late one night, she is the sole witness to a murder. Unfortunately, the murderer hadn't quite left the building when she was trying to sneak away and he traps her in the elevator. Looking in to the eyes of the murderer, she knows she will never forget his evil stare or his stunning good looks. Fortunately, the murderer decides to let her go; unfortunately, he never forgets Brenna either.

Thus begins a wild chase through three different states and over a long time period. Every time Brenna thinks she is safe the killer finds her again. He will not let her forget and yet he does not hurt her. She is the mouse in this cat and mouse game, and he loves to toy with her.

In a brilliant and thrilling novel, the author takes you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions as you follow Brenna and the Gemini Killer. You are sure you know who the culprit is; I mean the author has spelled it out for you, right? Or has she? The thing with this novel is even though you suspect what might be going on you never really know for sure and that's what keeps you on the edge of your seat. Throughout the novel both the heroine and the other characters are laid out in such a way that you can actually see them and they become real to you. I was actually leaning forward in my chair at one point as I was urging Brenna to overcome her adversary! The novel ends with a twist that some readers will truly love and will leave others confused but that will only make them want to re-read it, I'm sure.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 kisses was that some of the wording bothered me (What's a thwump? Is this a comic book?) In all other ways, I highly recommend you run out and buy this e-book. You will not be disappointed!
