Paranormal Erotic Romance
Aidan Cross has been a Guardian most of his life. A captain in the elite warrior guard, he and his men fight the Nightmares that entered the rift behind them when they escaped their dimensional world into our own. To right the wrong they accidentally caused, they continue to wage war on the Nightmares who attack innocent humans on the dream plane of sleep.
He supplants himself in women's dreams, giving them sensual pleasure. And while the delights are vast, they are meaningless to him. He wants more than a never ending series of one night stands. The Elders speak of a legend, a prophecy about a human “key” who must stopped from widening the rift and destroying both their worlds. He and his men are charged to kill this “key” should they find him or her.
Veterinarian Lyssa Bates has always had trouble sleeping at night. She overworks her body simply so she can fall asleep and has done so for years–so many years in fact, the lack of deep sleep is taking its toll. After a particularly grueling day at work, she comes home exhausted and flops onto her couch, drifting off...
She never remembers her dreams, but this time is different. Her dream lover feels so real...not like a hazy figment of her imagination.
I was thrilled to see Ms. Day choose to write a paranormal contemporary romance. Fans of Ms. Day's will note the heat level is just as blazing hot, her skills as a storyteller just as deft as her previous works. My only complaint is that the story seemed as though it ended too abruptly. Readers may feel as though they are left hanging, but hopefully many of our questions will be answered in book two of this new trilogy.4 ½ Kisses
