Chantal Morgan is looking for financial security in all the wrong places. Her biblical upbringing goes straight out the window as she flits from man to man in the big city. Having Andre Jackson’s baby makes her somebody. She soon finds that attending all the right parties and satisfying her man may not be enough to stay on top.

Tyler Blake is the new leading lady in town and her eye is set on Andre- she doesn’t know how serious Chantal is about becoming the next Mrs. Jackson. Lines will be crossed and actions will go over the edge but will it be enough to turn one hooker into a housewife?

I went along for the ride with Chantal Morgan in this story. She is a true-to-life character and her actions certainly speak louder than her words. She plows right into life from high school and shows no regret for where she is headed. Readers will identify with her struggles if not her strategies. The entertainment industry is rough for women and Joy King showed some of the glamour and some of the grit. Both were realistic and fascinating.
