An erotic werewolf e-book
Orphaned at a young age, Kimberly Brenin and her older brother were forced to make their own way in the world. Only, they had a little tougher time then most. For you see, they were werewolves. Though they are aware of their heritage, neither was prepared for the future.
To get away from the past and start over fresh, Kimberly moved away from home. But things backfired when she found herself racked by nightmares. If that wasn't enough, her body started to crave something just out of her reach. Her senses hyper aware, her nerves jangled, Kimberly tried to cope by throwing herself into her job. She might have succeeded if the infuriatingly handsome Nico Cassamonti hadn't popped up every time she turned around. Though annoyed, she couldn't help but feel attracted to him.
Nico was Alpha leader. As custom, he waited for Kimberly to pay the mandatory tribute for intruding on his territory without permission. When confronted, Kimberly claimed ignorance and promised to leave, but that was the last thing Nico wanted. Kimberly was in heat – to let her go off on her own would be dangerous. Their unusual courtship became strained when complications from leading a pack of animals overtook his life and endangered the woman he has come to love. To survive, Kimberly must learn to trust Nico with more then her body … before it's too late and she loses everything.
Although I liked Myth of Moonlight, the story needed to be tightened to make the book easier to read and force the characters to jump off the pages. Both Nico and Kimberly seemed to reverse their feelings, from one spectrum to another, a bit too fast for my comfort. On the plus side, I did come to care for the characters and found myself satisfied with the great ending. The mysterious cliffhanger really added to the tone of the book and left this reader with a satisfied, if curious, feeling of what's to come next.
