Powerful and sexy mage Moran gives up the last of his immense power during a battle with an evil mage. Injured, sickened, and polluted by the dark magick he used to defeat her, he stumbles into a small village. There he is tended by Enid, the lovely but widowed woman who has enough knowledge of healing and herbs to help him.

On this cold Yule night, Enid gets more than she expected when her tender care of Moran sparks a love affair worthy of the Goddess.

This is a nicely told tale of two folks finding healing with each other. I like the author's simple style and straightforward storytelling, and the erotic scenes are top notch. A few of the language choices pulled me out of the story, seeming a bit overwrought for the setting, but that is certainly a subjective opinion. Overall, I found the story sexy and sweet.
