In Francis Ray's Irresistible You , Pierce Grayson is a goner and doesn't know it yet. He knows that she has her site set on his left hand ring finger, but doesn't know who or when.
Fourth in line for his mother Ruth Grayson's matchmaking and marriage plans, Pierce doesn't know whether to suspect her request to pick up Sabra Raineau, the Broadway actress, in her place from the airport or not. Ruth has already succeeded with his brother's Luke, Morgan and Brandon leaving on him and his sister Sierra, whom he has a pact with not to fall, left.
Pierce is self-assured, proud, logical and a bit of a playboy. He works and plays hard as an investment banker and has worked to maintain and recover his reputation after an earlier incident that cost him (and his investors) close to a quarter of a million dollars. After falling for the line of the too slick, charming man who swindled him and learning a hard lesson, Pierce has lived professionally and personally by the motto–if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
Enter Sabra Raineau in Santa Fe to assist Ruth with a fundraiser play which will raise money for the student's she teaches at the university winter trip to New York. Ruth chose Sabra's play, Silken Lies which Sabra not only wrote but will direct as well as act in. However, Sabra has another agenda, repay the man her father swindled.
But the problem and fun comes in when Pierce almost immediately falls for the stunningly beautiful Sabra.
You will get lost in Ms. Ray's beautiful words & description. This book also showcases Francis Ray's lyrical and flowing writing style as well as friendly voice. I really enjoyed reading this book and was completely engrossed from word one to the ending. I fell in love with both main characters as well as the rest of the family. Irresistible You is a part of the Grayson's of New Mexico series. It can be read alone and even out of sequence, but I do recommend reading the entire series. This book is definitely worth buying and is an enjoyable, entertaining read.
