Falling is a hot read and so much more. I never expected to find such a wonderfully imagined world or such well-developed characters.
Alec is a hard working homicide cop in Shelton, Illinois. He realizes a string of bizarre, unexplainable murders is connected, and his life changes forever. He has no idea that the connection between them all is magic.
Christian, the head of the Bureau of Dark Magic Affairs based in England heads to the States and partners with Alec in order to investigate the deaths.
The instant the two men meet, an unwanted attraction forms. Nevertheless, they must learn to trust each other with their deepest secrets if they are to survive. Rogan, a dark mage, is hunting for an amulet that magnifies power. It was lost thirty years ago, but he has discovered a way to access its powers and will stop at nothing to get it. And Alec is involved in ways Christian could never have imagined.
I loved the book, the men are hot and their attraction hotter. Again, I can’t say enough about just how real M.L. Rhodes world becomes. I hope she makes this a series.5 Kisses
