Innocence was something Callan had lost long ago, so when he saw Jane, he knew he had to keep his distance. It wasn't easy, for her blood and passion called something from him he thought dead long ago. The only thing that held him back was the horror of what he was forced to do as a vampire. He had no right to her introduce her to the terrible complications of her new lifestyle. Not when her father would cure her.

But others have heard of the cure. One group wanted the cure for themselves, the other wanted it destroyed. If that didn't stop the Blundell's from their research, death would. To save Jane, Callan would give up his dreams … but will it be enough?

Tight writing and wonderful descriptions made Callan and Jane's story come alive. The emotions between the characters and what they were feeling really drew me into their world. The way Callan fights his feelings for Jane adds a dimension to his character that's irresistible and endearing. Though some of the book became a bit graphic, I couldn't help be drawn to their plight. One With The Night is a book for those who want to touch the darker side of the world and find, no matter how hard life is, hope still exists.
